1 mL serum.

Unacceptable Conditions

Specimen not properly identified; incorrect container; insufficient sample volume.

Storage/Transport Temperature

Internal: Deliver to lab immediately.
Offsite: Allow to clot for 30 minutes before centrifuging. Centrifuge within 2 hours of collection. Transport refrigerated.
